Thanksgiving

Progress on the Stranglevine scarf continues. Nothing new to see. It’s kind of pleasing, though, because it’s very stretchy, so I’m always father along than I think.

So, today is the American Thanksgiving, and of course I’ll be spending today catching up with family members I haven’t seen yet (there are some), and stuffing myself silly with real home-cooked food. I think the real reason Thanksgiving was invented was so poor, starved college students living on dorm food would have an island of nourishment in an otherwise barren desert of disgusting.

This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for…

– home and all that home entails (food, family, friends)
– the opportunity to go to college and study what I want to study
– HEATERS AND THICK SOCKS
– knitting (of course)
– books
– being able to walk on my own two feet without any hindrance
– and pretty much everything else.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
